PAX Prime 2015: Hob Interview with Matt Lefferts

Not only were we able to get lead animator at Runic Games Matt Lefferts to talk with us about the recently announced title Hob, but we did it at the studio’s office.  Here we chat with Lefferts about PAX, Hob, and the many adventures a mid-tier indie studio tackles in game development.  It’s a great

PAX Prime 2015: Live Saturday Night Show

On Saturday, August 29, we had a live broadcast from PAX Prime 2015 with Fred, Derrick H (All Games), and guest Heffe to talk about the show floor and a bunch of games.  Since many of you were leading lives that night, here’s the broadcast.

PAX Prime 2015: Assassins Creed Syndicate Preview

I’ve never really fallen out of favor for the Assassin’s Creed franchise.  Granted, I chose to play the PC version of Assassin’s Creed Rogue instead of the heavily criticized Assassin’s Creed Unity last year, but beyond that I’ve enjoyed every single entry in the series (even III).  Couple that with the updated engine that seems

PAX Prime 2015 – This War of Mine: The Little Ones Preview

I never got much of a chance to make the most of This War of Mine.  It was a striking concept – a world torn apart and consistently tough decisions need to be made both inside an outside of your home base – and one that more people should play.  Just before PAX started, 11-bit

PAX Prime 2015: Bombshell Preview

The attack was unexpected, catching everyone by surprise.  In a flash Washington D.C. was falling apart and the President herself fell victim to an alien invasion right on the White House lawn.  Despite heavy military involvement, this is a job reserved for Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison, a former member of an elite bomb squad now turned
